FishTANK is a sitcom about the day-to-day life of an online dating service. In the pilot episode, when one of the company’s most affluent clients decides to take FishTANK to court, the team gathers together to save the company from a disastrous scandal.

About the Director

Diogo Cronemberger received his BA in Film from the University of São Paulo, in Brazil, participated in Talent Campus Buenos Aires 2008, worked as a film critic, and has written, directed, and produced many shorts. With his thesis film O Forasteiro (The Unfamiliar), he’ll complete his MFA in Film Directing at Columbia University, where he was a recipient of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Fellowship and a teaching assistant to professors Jane Gaines and Richard Peña.

About the Writer/Producer

Prior to her involvement in film, Joelle Joeseph graduated magna cum laude from Ohio State University with a B.S. in International Business and a B.A. in Theatre. During her tenure as a graduate student at Columbia University, Joelle worked closely with the writers of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. She has also worked with the casting directors of NBC on shows such as 30 Rock and other pilots. The TV pilot FishTANK is Joelle’s thesis project.

About the Co-Producer

Alexandra Vivas was born in Tabasco, Mexico. She graduated from Monterrey’s Institute of Technology with a B.A. in Communication Sciences. She worked developing a television show based on the Supreme Court of Justice in Tabasco and has produced several award winning short films and the MTV China show Music Check In: New York. She worked for the independent production companies Killer Films and Parts and Labor and was the production coordinator for The Heart Machine (SXSW 2014). Her thesis film Gloom won the Latino category of the DGA Student Awards and has screened at San Sebastian and Kustendorf Film Festivals.
