About the Writer/Director

Diogo Cronemberger received his BA in Film from the University of São Paulo in Brazil. He participated in Talent Campus Buenos Aires 2008, worked as a film critic and has written, directed and produced many shorts. With his thesis film O Forasteiro (The Unfamiliar), he will complete his MFA in Film Directing at Columbia University, where he was also a recipient of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Fellowship and a teaching assistant to professors Jane Gaines and Richard Peña.

About the Producer

Flávio Gusmão is a photographer and filmmaker with a BA in Publicity from the Federal University of Pernambuco and a BA in Journalism from the Catholic University of Pernambuco. Active in the film scene of Pernambuco, Brazil, he has worked on many shorts and features, including Rat Fever (Cláudio Assis), Once Upon a Time Veronica (Marcelo Gomes), Neighboring Sounds (Kleber Mendonça Filho) and Tatuagem (Hilton Lacerda). He now works under the flag of TAKEOVER Produtores Associados, in partnership with Pedro Coelho.

About the Associate Producer

Prior to her involvement in film, Joelle graduated magna cum laude from Ohio State University with a BS in International Business and a BA in Theatre. During her tenure as a graduate student at Columbia University, Joelle worked closely with the writers of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. She has also worked with the casting directors of NBC on shows such as 30 Rock and other pilots. On the distribution front, Joelle has supported the sales and acquisitions team of Entertainment One at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
