About the Writer/Director

BENJAMIN KEGAN is a New York-based filmmaker and M.F.A Film candidate at Columbia University’s School of the Arts. Kegan’s previous short films and documentaries have screened at several international film festivals including TriBeCa, BFI London, BAM, Chicago International Film Festival, AFI Dallas, Ann Arbor, Cinequest and CamerImage Poland. His documentary short, Team Taliban was named one of the “Top 5 Best Short Films” at the 2009 TriBeCa Film Festival by New York Magazine. He received a 2014 Davey Foundation grant for Emerging Artists and a James Bridges development grant for directing actors.

About the Producer

CHANDRA C. SILVER (Producer) has worked at Hart Sharp Entertainment, The Gersh Agency and for independent film producer Mary Jane Skalski. Her producing credits include the short films “Red Dot,” which screened at Palm Springs and “The First Men,” which was awarded the Davey Foundation and James Bridges development grant in 2014. Chandra co-produced the feature documentary, “The Revisionaries,” which won a special jury prize at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released by PBS/ Independent Lens and Kino Lorber in 2013. The film was recently awarded a Dupont Award from the Columbia School of Journalism. Chandra is a student member of the Producers Guild of America, and currently works at the newly formed film financing and production company Green Hummingbird Entertainment.
