About the Writer/Director

FERRAN MENDOZA SOLER was born in Barcelona and lived there for 25 years. He moved to New York to study filmmaking and currently calls the city home. He directed two short films, Aigua Gelida (2012) and The Visitor (2015), an experimental feature, Harlem Tendre Stock (2014), and a documentary feature, The Outskirts (2009). He also works regularly as Assistant Director, as well as videographer and editor, in both New York and Barcelona.

About the Producer

DINA HARB (Producer) is the founder and managing partner of Birthmark Films, a production company based in Egypt, her native country. Harb is a film producer and sales agent for a number of Arab films. She is currently working on several films in various stages of production. Harb co-produced and is currently selling the documentary Yallah! Underground, and served as associate producer of Words of Witness (2012), an award-winning documentary. She has produced two award-winning shorts in the U.S., as well as more than 50 commercials for international clients such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Nokia, CNN, Olympic Electric, Qatar National Bank, Danone and Danette. Harb is an M.F.A. candidate at Columbia University’s Graduate School of the Arts and her background is in project management and strategy in the field of marketing, communications and advertising.
