About the Writer/Director
Kate Phillips is a New-York based writer and director, originally from Texas. She has an MFA in Film Directing from Columbia University School of the Arts. She is a recipient of the Panavision New Filmmaker’s Grant and was a Finalist for the Warner Brothers Emerging Directors Workshop. Her film Where The Shadows Fall was optioned by Gunpowder & Sky and distributed by DUST. She is grateful to her friends, family and teachers at Columbia.
About the Producer
Nadia Zoe is a New York-based filmmaker originally from the Southwest. She has had the pleasure to produce several projects including an Alfred P. Sloan Production Grant winner and this amazing film shot entirely in Freeport, NY. For her own writing/directing work, she was a finalist in the teleplay competition at the Austin Film Festival and she currently has a film premiering at the Chicago Latino Film Festival.
