About the Director
Nick Weiss-Richmond is a New York-based writer, director and editor originally from Boston, Massachusetts. Recent projects include the short Envelopes (2013) which was featured at New Filmmakers: New York. In 2013, he co-wrote the Michael Hausman-produced short film Broken Badge. Recent festival screenings of his work include Mill Valley, Sedona and Santa Fe. In 2016, he was awarded a production grant from the Alfred P. Sloan foundation, for the period web series The Bridge. He holds an MFA in Directing from Columbia University and teaches at Adelphi University.
About the Writer/Producer
Micah Paisner (co-writer) hails from Chicago. From an early age, he was interested in comedy and so after graduating from Lawrence University, he enrolled in Second City Chicago's sketch writing program. He relocated to New York to get his MFA in Screenwriting at Columbia University. His scripts have been quarterfinalists and semifinalists in various writing competitions, including recently taking third place in the Cinequest Film Festival Screenwriting Competition.
