About the Writer/Director
Renée Marie Petropoulos is an award-winning filmmaker from Sydney, Australia. Her films have received international acclaim with nominations at the Gotham Film Festival, The Urban World Film Festival, Big Apple Film festival and recently as finalist for the Screencraft Short Film Fund and Breaking Barriers Grant. While pursuing her MFA in Directing at Columbia University School of the Arts, Renee has continued to push her cinematic practices with a focus on female-driven stories.
