About the Writer/Director
Gauri Adelkar is an Indian filmmaker pursuing her MFA at Columbia University, where she is the 2018 recipient of the Breaking Barriers Award. Focused on social justice, her work has screened at festivals such as the Hamptons International Film Festival, Athens International Film & Video Festival and won awards including Best Director at the Boston International Film Festival.
