About the Writer/Director

Originally from Boston, Austin Hsieh is a writer-director who got his start in filmmaking in the camera and music departments. His films have premiered in competition at numerous international film festivals, including Austin Film Festival, RiverRun International Film Festival, and many more. He currently holds an MFA in Directing from Columbia University.

About the Producer

JD Ferenc Dooling has been directing and producing films for fifteen years. After directing dozens of music videos, he directed and produced the shoestring indie feature, Corinthian Leather, in 2016, which received awards and nominations at several Hispanic film festivals. His work through his company Beatwatch Films continues to explore audio and visual story-telling.
