About the Director/Writer

An Chu is a Taiwanese filmmaker with a graduate degree in Screenwriting and Directing from Columbia University. His latest two shorts have been selected by Taipei Film Festival in two consecutive years. An received Katharina Otto-Bernstein production grant for his thesis film Tuo Tuo.

Hongwei Wu is an international producer who was born and raised in Guangzhou, China, and now splits her time between China and New York. Hongwei acquired a bachelor degree in commerce from University of Western Australia with a second major in Communications and Media. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Producing at Columbia University. For Hongwei, creating art is a lifelong exploration and she takes enormous pleasure in the collaborative creative process crucial to international cinema.
