About the Writer/Director

Felix van Kann is a German screenwriter and director currently living in Los Angeles. He is an alum of the Impact x Netflix DACH Accelerator Program, a Humanitas Comedy Fellowship Finalist, a recipient of two Sloan Grants and a BAFTA Newcomer. As a writer, Felix is drawn to dark and absurd comedies that challenge and subvert expectations.

About the Producer


Fernando González Ortiz is a US-based Latino producer from Caborca, Mexico. He produced The Lion and the Firebird, one of the first student short films to be filmed in Virtual Production at an LED Volume. His work in genre and latine films poses the question ""How can we imagine a better future? "" He is a 2022 BAFTA Newcomers.
