About the Writer/Director
Anastasia Ayazi is a Chilean screenwriter/director. In 2024, she received her film MFA from Columbia University. She wrote the film screenplay "Chavela" to be produced by Amazon; and the bible and pilot episode of "Vientos Patagónicos." She was awarded the Emerging Filmmakers Production Award which allowed her to film her thesis "Fiesta de cumpleaños (o la venganza de la hijastra)."
About the Producer
Fernando González Ortiz is a Mexican producer. He graduated from Columbia University's film program with an MFA in Creative Producing. His thesis film, The Lion and the Firebird, screened at Screamfest, Filmquest, and Atlanta Horror Film Festival. He is a BAFTA Newcomer and a Fulbright alumnus. He currently teaches film in Mexico and is in post-production of Brujas, a feature documentary.
