About the Writer/Director
Annie Pettinga is a Midwest-born, Los Angeles–based filmmaker and Columbia MFA Directing graduate. With a background in theater and a passion for psychology and mental health advocacy, she tells personal, character-driven stories rooted in vulnerability, self-acceptance, and empathy—while still embracing humor and levity. She’s currently developing a romantic comedy musical inspired by her experiences while making this film.
About the Producer
Kinder Labatt is a Canadian producer and writer based in Toronto. She received an MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University, where her thesis film Bag Lady won her the Award for Excellence in Producing in 2022. She holds the record for most thesis films produced at Columbia University. Her recent producing works include the 2025 Toronto Film Critics Awards and the upcoming Toronto Godspell Documentary (Judd Apatow, Executive Producer).
About the Producer
Mackenzie "Mack" Lyle is a Los Angeles-based Producer and Entertainment Professional with an MFA in Creative Producing from Columbia University (2020). She has worked as Coordinator and Manager at Film 45 and Moxie Films and is currently Associate Producing a Concert Documentary. Mack continues producing and developing narrative projects including music videos, shorts, TV, and features.
