About the Writer/Director

Sofia Voss is a writer, director, and editor who strives to create heightened, genre-heavy stories of queer Midwestern life with her distinctive homemade aesthetic. Voss received the Alex Sichel Fellowship for a Promising Female Filmmaker from the Columbia University Film Festival in 2024. Most recently, her Columbia thesis short film DOOMSDAY (2026) received the Leone Family Film Grant.

About the Producer

Anna Dunn is a Writer, Production Designer, and Producer graduating Columbia with her Screenwriting MFA in 2026. Growing up in Idaho instilled Dunn with a love for stories about queer, rural experiences. Her short films all center on queer protagonists seeking a sense of place. Her TV Pilot, Texas, made it to the second round of the Austin Film Festival.

Roku Long is a writer, director, and producer based in New York with an MFA in Film Directing from Columbia University, where she was the recipient of the Jack Larson Award for Collaboration and the Emerging Filmmakers Grant. Roku is dedicated to creating and supporting independent cinema, highlighting Asian immigrants and LGBTQ+ communities to foster empathy and empower underrepresented communities.
