How to Attend

Welcome to the 35th annual Columbia University Film Festival (CUFF)!

We are returning with another hybrid festival, and we are thrilled to have you with us. CUFF will host in-person screenings and events in New York City and offer a selection of festival films available worldwide. This year promises to be a festival as global, creative, and inspiring as the Columbia MFA students whose work we showcase.

Join us for our signature in-person events with Screenwriting Night opening the festival on May 16 at Lenfest Center for the Arts, and Awards Night on May 15 at the Walter Reade Theater at Film at Lincoln Center.

There are 43 films screening for free at the Katharina Otto-Bernstein Screening Room at the Lenfest Center for the Arts and half will screen online with the virtual platform Eventive.

From May 11–15, the Columbia Film community will come together to watch, network, laugh, and celebrate the very best of our program.

Below, you’ll find information about how to navigate your way throughout CUFF 2023.
