About the Writer/Director
From Tamaki Makaurau, New Zealand, Arthur Gay is a director and writer based in NYC and recent Columbia University MFA graduate. He is the recipient of the Milos Forman Directing Fellowship, the Katharina Otto-Bernstein Mentorship and Development Prize and a Sundance Fellow. His most recent short film 'When the Geese Flew' will world premiere at Directors Fortnight Cannes 2025.
About the Writer
Rali is a New York–based screenwriter. After earning a BA in Literature from Tufts University, he taught high school English in Hawaii before graduating with honors from Columbia University’s MFA Screenwriting program. His past work was selected for the 2024 Sundance Screenwriting Intensive, named a Faculty Select at Columbia, won the Ezra Litwak Award, and was a Nicholl Fellowship semifinalist. His work explores tensions between private and public selves, aiming to move audiences to laugh, cry, cringe, and gasp.
Laura Ganotis is an award-winning Greek-Italian film producer based in Athens, Greece. An MFA graduate with Honors from Columbia University, she produces internationally driven, character-led films exploring belonging, identity, and displacement. Her work has screened at Cannes, San Sebastián, and SFFILM among other festivals. A 2024 Katharina Otto-Bernstein Prize and Michael Hausman Award recipient, she set up her own production companies in both New York and Athens.
