About the Writer/Director
Zuko Garagić's cinema moves between archival fragments and expressionist reconstruction. Recently, Zuko directed and co-produced a short film under the mentorship of Academy Award–winner Paolo Sorrentino and was selected to participate in the 2026 Locarno Film Festival Spring Academy. He graduated summa cum laude from NYU and earned his MFA from Columbia University, where he taught as a Teaching Fellow and Adjunct Professor.
