Claire James is a writer and producer from the Midwest currently based in New York, where she is pursuing her MFA in Film Producing at Columbia University. She is drawn to character-driven stories rooted in history, identity, and emotional urgency. Claire is especially passionate about development, independent film, and championing bold, socially resonant storytelling through a producer’s lens.
